Look beyond Photoshop to Creative Suite

cs2.jpg

If you focus mainly on Photoshop, expand your horizons by considering what you can do with your images by using Photoshop with the other programs in Creative Suite 2.  The integration of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, GoLive, Acrobat, Bridge, Version Cue in Creative Suite 2 is without a doubt a continued step in the right direction, because it reflects how many of us work. For example, a digital photographer might rename some photos in Bridge, open them from there into Photoshop for correction and retouching, bring them into InDesign along with a logo from Illustrator to create a brochure advertising his services, optimize copies for the Web in Photoshop, and publish them to his Web site with GoLive. With each rev of Creative Suite I expect to see the cross-program integration done even better, with more common interfaces among the software and less redundancy across products.
