A lot of publications release tips and guides on how to craft better performance out of Photoshop, but I'd bet Adobe
is a good candidate for the final say in two documents they've recently pubished. With one for
Windows and another for
Mac OS X, these documents are thorough guides straight
from the top on how to optimize your system for Photoshop CS2. They even go so far as to explain how certain commands
and operations function and what resources they require. Both documents are somewhat of a long read, but I'm sure
they'll benefit just about anyone's Photoshop CS2 workflow. I'm not sure how much of this could apply to versions prior
to CS2, but I bet at least some of it would still be relevant.
