Discussions about quality and relativity aside, I found a monster
list of free stock photo sites over at the Photoshop Tutorials Blog. I've never seen this blog before and I believe
the post came up in my del.icio.us popular feed, but nevertheless: there has to be close to 50 free stock photo sites,
repositories and communities in this list. While I admit I haven't checked through every one, this seems like a pretty
handy list to browse or bookmark. If any of you take the time to more thoroughly parse this list, feel free to post

From the links at my site Stock Exchange and Morguefile are in my opinion the best ones. However if you browse the list you will notice that there are a lot of resources that specialize in a specific subject like for example Texture Warehouse that has a large selection of textures which are very useful not only for designers but for 3d artists as well.
