We've been thinking about putting
together a Photoshop video podcast for some time now. It's so easy to do with iLife '06 that we just plain ran out of
excuses. So here for your viewing pleasure is the first episode of The Unofficial
Photoshop Weblog's video screencast, Photoshop Online. In this inaugural episode we tackle the prickly subject of image resolution in Photoshop. Resolution can be tough to grasp, so we break it down for you, explaining what it is, why it's important, and how to choose the proper resolution for a file destined for an inkjet printer.
Our tech team is working hard behind the scenes to ready Photoshop Online for iTunes and RSS. For now it's available only as a direct link from this blog. Click the link below to view Episode 01. Enjoy, and let us know what you think.

Update: Thanks to our tech team, the podcast now plays directly in some browsers, including the latest versions of Safari and Firefox on Mac, and IE on Windows. If it doesn't play directly in your browser, right-click (PC) or control-click (Mac) and choose the download option from your browser's menu. Then open the file in iTunes, Quicktime Player, or any media player that recognizes the .m4v format. iTunes and Quicktime player are free downloads from apple.com for both Mac and Windows.

1. I'd love to play and watch your 'cast, but I have no software that responds to your m4v file. Is this a proprietary format?
I am using a PC, Windows XP SP2, and until today thought I had every necessary codec.
