I found an interesting article titled "Photo
Fakery" at OEmagazine detailing the basic ins and outs of both creating and spotting fake images. The article
explains some of the specific requirements for a believable fake such as proper lighting, context, softening edges and
cleaning up noise, and it also delves into some of the historically great photographic hoaxes. It's a pretty
interesting read, although I do hope it doesn't open doors for the wrong people and cause more harm than good!
