Adobe Proxy magazine issue #4
Adobe has released issue #4 of
Proxy into the wild, and it looks like yet another slick issue. Featured designer Cheryl Heller shares design
wisdom and lessons for working with clients, while the rest of the issue is devoted to font complexities, matching
Pantone libraries, converting QuarkXpress files for InDesign and more. Check out
my first post on Proxy in case you're wondering
what on earth I'm talking about. Then
go snag #4!

A Free Proxy from Adobe
Yet another gem I stumbled upon over at Adobe's site (of all places) is
Proxy, a free quarterly online (pdf) magazine that covers a wide range of
design goodness. Adobe only asks for an email address and a couple of very general job-specific questions to be
answered to subscribe to this free, jam-packed digital rag with insightful articles featuring design firms and trends,
software tips, troubleshooting "and much more". (They really do have much
more, I just didn't want to get nailed for plagiarizing.)
One warning though: they can have a corny sense of humor at times. Their
Q&A section is called "Ask A.Pixel", with the tag line: "He's nice but a little square". Har-har guys… ;)
Head on over to Adobe's sign-up form and to catch up on the first three issues
that have been released so far. ...
Adobe Proxy Magazine Vol. 2 No. 1 has landed
Adobe
Proxy is a slick quarterly interactive design magazine (PDF) I wish they'd
publish more often. If you aren't familiar, check out our other posts on past issues to get a feel, or simply dig right in, you really can't go wrong. This latest issue packs a
Photoshop Vanishing Point filter tutorial, rendering delay improvements in the Production Studio suite, tips on
converting InDesign projects into websites with GoLive, an interview with Alex Gelman on his Japanese design interests,
tips on type and more. You can head over and download past and
current issues, as well as sign up for email notifications of the next issue. ...

If you are in that group, a joint proxy statement/prospectus containing information about the merger will be mailed to
you in a few days. Adobe's press release reports that Adobe anticipates that the transaction will close in the Fall of
